I’m tired! 🥱 3 yrs ago I wouldn’t have even considered posting a photo like this, the background would’ve had to be white, edited with whites and highlights up ⬆️, the warmth toned down ⬇️, and definitely not in a fridge. I have stopped focusing so much on content and turned Mimsicle Cakes back to being about the creative process and bringing joy to special moments in our lives. I rarely film anymore - though I do want to do this in a new way, and not feel obligated to for the sake of a reel - and I don’t panic if I forget to take a proper photo before the boxing. I also don’t look at time of day I’m posting, obsess over follower count, or worry about how often I’m pumping out content. This is also a passion and side hustle for me - it’s not my main gig and if it were I would be putting a different kind of energy into this. But for what it’s worth, #MimsicleCakes (right now) is my creative outlet, my therapy, and a space I want to ENJOY being in. Can you believe this was the hardest wedding cake Can you believe this was the hardest wedding cake set up I’ve ever done?
